Animated website templates for v0
AnimatedWebs gives you animated website templates with a live demo and a full build prompt, and the v0 button on each template page copies the prompt and opens a new v0 chat with it. v0 works with Next.js, Tailwind and shadcn/ui, and you can publish the result to Vercel from the chat.
- How it opens
- A button on the template page, with the prompt also on your clipboard
- Works with
- Next.js, Tailwind and shadcn/ui, per v0's docs
- Cost to try
- Free templates with a free account, and v0 has a Free plan
How a template gets into v0
- 1
Play the demo and read its Stack
Play the live demo on the template page, then check the Stack list in the sidebar. v0's docs say it works with Next.js, Tailwind and shadcn/ui, so a template that lists Next.js and Tailwind is the closest match.
- 2
Sign in and click v0
A free AnimatedWebs account opens the free templates. Click v0 in the Or open it in row. For a Pro template, Pro or Lifetime covers it, or the first click spends one Prompt Pack credit, and the button sends you to pricing when neither applies.
- 3
Let AnimatedWebs open v0
The button copies the full build prompt, then opens v0.app/chat in a new tab with the prompt in the link. If the link would be longer than 7,000 characters, it opens v0 with one short line asking it to build the prompt you are about to paste, and the button reads Copied, paste in v0 for eight seconds.
- 4
Look at the chat before you send
v0's docs do not describe prompt links, so check what the chat holds. If the full prompt is there, send it. If you see the short line or an empty box, paste the prompt from your clipboard.
- 5
Check the result and publish
Compare the preview with the live demo. v0's docs say to publish with Vercel from the Publish control in the chat header. v0 asks you to confirm a project name only if it needs to create a Vercel project, and Publish Changes later updates the same production URL. With GitHub connected, v0 creates or reuses a pull request.
Live demos to send to v0
Templates that list Next.js and Tailwind come first, because those are the stack v0's docs name. Free templates are marked Free.
For 257 of the 366 live-demo websites that list v0, the whole prompt fits in the link. The other 109 open v0 with the short line, and the full prompt waits on your clipboard.

Tips for v0
- Templates that list Next.js and Tailwind in their stack match the stack v0's docs name, and the grid shows those first.
- After your first publish, Publish Changes updates the same production URL.
- You can also bring an existing project into v0 from a zip file or GitHub with the + icon in the prompt bar.
- v0 has a Free plan, but its FAQ does not list what Free includes, so check v0's pricing page before a big build.
Limits to know
- v0's documentation does not describe a prompt link. The AnimatedWebs button uses the q parameter on v0.app/chat, so treat the link as a convenience and your clipboard as the sure path.
- When the link would pass 7,000 characters, the button swaps the prompt for a short line, because servers cap long URLs. Encoding makes a link longer than the prompt it carries.
- Many AnimatedWebs templates are plain HTML with GSAP or three.js. v0's docs name Next.js, Tailwind and shadcn/ui, so pick a Next.js template when you want the stack to match exactly.
- Photos and video in the live demos come from licensed stock and generators and are licensed to AnimatedWebs for display in the demos only, so replace them with media you own or license before you publish.
Questions about v0
How do I use an AnimatedWebs template in v0?+
Open a template page, play the live demo, sign in, and click v0 in the Or open it in row. AnimatedWebs copies the build prompt and opens a new v0 chat with it. Check the chat, paste the prompt if it is missing, and send.
Why did v0 open with a short message instead of the full prompt?+
The prompt travels in the link, and the button only uses that route while the whole link stays within 7,000 characters. A longer prompt makes it open v0 with one short line instead, and the full prompt is already on your clipboard to paste.
Which templates match v0's stack?+
v0's docs say it works with Next.js, Tailwind and shadcn/ui, among others. Templates that list Next.js and Tailwind under Stack on their page are the closest match, and the grid on this page shows those first.
Is it free?+
v0 lists a Free plan with no cost, for people looking to explore, but its FAQ does not say what Free includes, so check its pricing page. On our side a free account opens the free templates, and a Pro template needs Pro, Lifetime or a Prompt Pack credit.
Can I deploy what v0 builds?+
Yes. v0's docs say you publish with Vercel from the Publish control in the chat header, and Publish Changes updates the same production URL. With GitHub connected, v0 creates or reuses a pull request. Free templates allow personal and commercial sites, and Pro templates allow commercial and client work, as long as you do not resell the prompt.
