Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which keeps small values in your browser without sending them to our servers on every request.

2. What we use

• Sign-in session cookies (names starting with sb-): keep you signed in and protect your account. Strictly necessary. Set only when you sign in, and removed when you sign out or the session expires.
• Cookie notice (local storage key aw_cookie_notice_v1): remembers that you closed the cookie notice so it is not shown again. Strictly necessary. Stays until you clear your browser storage.
• Analytics: we run our own instance of Umami, which is cookie-free. It records page views in aggregate without cookies, without personal profiles and without tracking you across other websites.

We do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media cookies, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.

3. Why there is no consent banner

Under EU and UK rules (ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3) and PECR), storage that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for does not need consent. Everything we use falls in that category. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them.

4. Third parties

• Stripe: checkout runs on Stripe's own site (checkout.stripe.com), where Stripe sets its own cookies for payment and fraud prevention. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Live template demos: demos run in an isolated frame and load fonts from Google Fonts and scripts from jsDelivr. These services receive your IP address as part of a normal web request. They set no cookies on our site. See the Google Privacy Policy and the jsDelivr Privacy Policy.

5. Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sb- cookies you will not be able to sign in, but you can still browse templates and live demos. Because we do not track you or sell data, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals leave nothing further to switch off.

6. Changes

If we change what we use, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
