Creator Terms

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you apply for a business, you confirm you can bind it.
• You may not join if you, or the business you apply for, are located in a country under comprehensive US sanctions, or appear on a US government restricted-party list (such as the OFAC SDN list).
• One creator profile per person. Handles that impersonate people, brands or our own pages are refused or reclaimed.

2. Independent contractor

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner or agent of Like a King Inc.. You decide what you build and when. You are responsible for your own taxes, equipment and business costs. Nothing here creates a joint venture or employment relationship.

3. Verification and proof of ownership

• You must link real work you built: a live demo and its public GitHub or GitLab repository.
• You prove ownership by publishing the private token we give you as a <meta name="animatedwebs-verify"> tag on the demo, or as an animatedwebs-verify.txt file in the repository. We check it automatically; a person then reviews the work.
• Verification, tiers and badges are at our discretion. A certificate confirms that we reviewed your work. It is not a licence, qualification or endorsement for any other purpose.
• We may revoke a certificate, badge or verification if information you gave was false, the work was not yours, or you breach these terms. Revoked certificates show as invalid on the public verification page.

4. Your content and the licence you grant

• You keep ownership of your templates, prompts, code and demos (“Creator Content”).
• You grant Like a King Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, adapt for preview, distribute and promote your Creator Content on AnimatedWebs, its MCP server and our marketing, and to sublicense it to buyers and Pro members under the buyer licence in our Terms of Service. The licence ends for new buyers when you remove the content; buyers who already obtained it keep their licence.
• You can unpublish a template at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us.

5. Your promises about content

• You created the Creator Content or have every right needed to license it as described above.
• You do not include third-party assets you may not redistribute. Stock media (for example from Envato, Shutterstock or Adobe Stock) must not be bundled or hot-linked in a prompt. Link the stock item page so the buyer licenses it themselves, as our own templates do.
• You do not include malware, trackers, crypto miners, hidden links, or code that collects data without clear notice.
• Content must not infringe anyone's rights, copy another marketplace's templates, or break the law.

6. Revenue share

• Paid templates: you receive 70% of the net sale price. Net means after refunds, chargebacks, payment-processing fees and sales tax or VAT we collect.
• Pro pool: templates you include in Pro share in a pool of 50% of net Pro subscription revenue for the month. The pool is split in proportion to measured member use (for example prompt copies and MCP fetches). Use that looks automated, self-generated or fraudulent is excluded.
• Free templates earn no sales revenue, but count toward tiers and badges.
• We may change the percentages with at least 30 days' notice. Changes never reduce earnings already accrued.

7. Payouts and tax forms

• Earnings are held for 30 days after each payment to cover refunds and chargebacks, then paid monthly once your balance is at least $50.
• Before any payout you must provide a valid tax form: an IRS Form W-9 if you are a US person, or a Form W-8BEN (individuals) or W-8BEN-E (businesses) if you are not. We may withhold tax where US law requires it, and issue a Form 1099 where required.
• Payouts go through our payment provider, which may verify your identity. Unpaid balances are kept until you complete these steps.
• We may hold or reverse earnings linked to refunds, chargebacks, fraud, sanctions issues or a breach of these terms.
• No income is guaranteed. What you earn depends on your templates, demand and your own promotion.

8. Your public profile

Your handle, display name, headline, bio, links, stack, badges, tier, certificate number and published templates are public at animatedwebs.com/your-handle and in our public verification API. Your email, tax details, payout details and verification token are never shown. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Promotion and affiliate links

Your profile includes an affiliate link. If you use it, the Affiliate Terms also apply, including the duty to disclose that you earn a commission.

10. Copyright complaints

If someone reports your content under our DMCA process in the Terms of Service, we may remove it while the report is handled and pass your counter-notice back. Creators with repeated valid complaints are removed from the program.

11. Ending the program

You can leave at any time. We can suspend or end your participation, or change or close the program, with notice where reasonably possible. Earnings legitimately accrued before ending are paid out under section 7, unless they are tied to fraud or a breach.

12. Liability, disputes and everything else

The disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, dispute resolution and governing-law sections of our Terms of Service apply to these terms. You also indemnify us against claims arising from your Creator Content. If these terms and the Terms of Service conflict about the Creator Program, these terms win.
