Reges Code is a free, local-first AI code editor for Windows made by RegesCore. It finds local model servers on the machine by itself, including LM Studio, Ollama, vLLM, llama.cpp, Jan and Lemonade, so code can stay on the user's own GPU with no account. When the cloud is wanted it uses free models and moves to the next free model when one is rate-limited, and it never switches to a paid model on its own. Reges Swarm runs a team of five models (architect, coder, reviewer, security and judge) in pipeline, parallel or debate mode. An honesty check flags replies that claim work no tool actually did.
