Your Privacy Choices

1. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. That is the meaning of “sell” and “share” under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We do not run advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking on AnimatedWebs, and we do not give or sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

Because we neither sell nor share, there is nothing to opt out of, and we do not show a “Do Not Sell or Share” toggle. You may still send us the request and we will confirm in writing how we treat your data.

2. What we do share, and why it is not “sharing”

To be open about the places where data does move:

• Analytics. Our own Umami analytics use no cookies and build no profile of you. HeyCatch receives anonymous page view and click events, with the IP address and browser details any web request carries, and stores nothing on your device. We use them to understand how the site is used, not to advertise to you or to follow you across other sites. We treat these providers as service providers that act for us.
• Referral cookie. If you arrive through a creator's or affiliate's link, we store a first-party cookie (aw_ref, 90 days) holding only their referral code, so they get credit if you subscribe. It is read by our own checkout and is not sent to advertisers. When you buy, the referrer is credited a commission. We do not set this cookie when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, and in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask first.
• Service providers. Payment, hosting, email and AI providers process data to deliver the service. They are listed on the Subprocessors page, and we do not allow them to sell your data.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

3. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT). When your browser or an extension sends either signal, the site does not store the referral cookie. Our analytics do not use cookies in any case. You do not need to sign in for the signal to work, and it applies to the browser that sends it. To use it, turn on GPC in a browser or extension that supports it. See globalprivacycontrol.org.

4. Ask to access, correct or delete your data

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and send you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong (you can edit most of it yourself on your dashboard);
• delete your personal information, except records we must keep by law, such as tax and accounting records;
• stop or limit processing, withdraw a consent such as the newsletter, or object to processing;
• send us the request through an authorized agent, with your signed permission.

How: use the privacy contact form from the email address on your account, or write to hello@animatedwebs.com. We may need to verify that you are the account holder before we act.

Response time: we reply within 30 days. Where US state law allows, we may take up to 45 days and, when needed, extend once. We tell you if we need more time and why. Deleted account data is removed within 30 days of the request, as the Privacy Policy explains.

No penalty: we do not treat you worse for using these rights. We will not deny you the service, charge a different price or lower the quality because you asked.

Appeals: if we decline your request, reply to our decision within 60 days and we will review it and answer within 60 days. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state Attorney General or, in the EU or UK, your data protection authority.
