Trademark Guidelines
How partners, creators, customers and the press may use the AnimatedWebs name and marks. Like a King Inc. owns the AnimatedWebs brand.
1. Our marks
“AnimatedWebs”, the AnimatedWebs logo and wordmark, the fox mascot Flick, and the names and badge artwork of our programs (such as the Certified Partner Program, Certified Associate, Certified Professional and Certified Expert) are marks of Like a King Inc.. Other names on our site, such as sister brands, partners and AI providers, belong to their owners.
2. Everyone: fair use that needs no permission
- Write the name in plain text to talk about us accurately: reviews, articles, tutorials, social posts, comparisons and news.
- Say that your site uses an AnimatedWebs template, or that you work with our tools, when it is true.
- Use it in a way that is clear you are not us. Write it as AnimatedWebs, one word, with that capitalization.
Please do not:
- use our name, logo or mascot in your own company name, product name, domain name, app name or social handle;
- change, animate, recolor, crop or combine our logo or badges with other marks;
- suggest in any way that we sponsor, approve, endorse or are partnered with you or your product when we are not;
- use our marks in a way that is misleading, unlawful, or that disparages us unfairly.
3. Creators and Certified Partners
Members of the Certified Partner Program receive Certified Partner headers, a medal for their level and a public credential. You may use them, in the form we provide, on your own profiles, portfolio, resume and pitches, under these rules:
- Only the level you hold. Show the level shown on your verified credential, and update or remove it if your level changes.
- Use the artwork as supplied. Use the partner kit files from your dashboard. Do not redraw them, and do not make your own badge that looks like ours.
- Be accurate. Say “Certified Associate”, “Certified Professional” or “Certified Expert” only if you hold that level. Do not call yourself, your agency or your product “certified by AnimatedWebs” for work we did not review. A credential covers the person named on it, and not their employer, clients or other people.
- Link to the credential. Where you can, link to your public verify page so anyone can check it.
- No implied endorsement. A badge says that we reviewed your identity and work at the time. It does not mean we endorse your services, guarantee your work, or are your partner, agent or employer. Do not use it in a way that says otherwise.
- It ends when the credential ends. If a certificate is revoked or you leave the program, stop using the badges. Revoked certificates show as invalid on the public verification page.
The Creator Terms and Affiliate Terms also apply to program members.
4. Affiliates and promoters
You may promote AnimatedWebs with your referral link and honest descriptions of the product. Do not bid on our name or misspellings of it in paid search, register look-alike domains or accounts, or imply that you are us. Say that you earn a commission where the law or the platform requires it. See the Affiliate Terms.
5. Press and directories
Journalists, directories, marketplaces and newsletters may use our name and a screenshot of our public pages to report on us or list us, with the name spelled correctly. For logos and press assets, or to ask for something not covered here, write to hello@animatedwebs.com.
6. Report misuse
If you see someone using our name, logo or badges in a way that breaks these guidelines, such as a fake credential or a look-alike site, tell us through the contact form or at hello@animatedwebs.com, with the address where you saw it. We may ask people to fix or remove misuse and may revoke program credentials where members break these rules. For copyright claims, use the Copyright and DMCA Policy.
7. Changes
We may update these guidelines. We may also withdraw permission to use our marks where the use harms the brand. These guidelines do not give you ownership of, or a license beyond the uses described for, any of our marks.
